Judge dismisses three charges against Trump in election case

A Georgia judge has dismissed three of the 41 charges against Donald Trump and some of his co-defendants in the ongoing election subversion trial. The judge cited insufficient details in the allegations that Trump and his co-defendants tried to get officials to violate their oaths. Trump has denied wrongdoing in all four criminal cases, which stem from the storming of the Capitol building by his supporters in an attempt to prevent the verification of Joe Biden's election victory. The remaining 35 criminal counts against Trump and his co-defendants still stand.
