Jordan's Islamist Party Wins Parliamentary Elections Amid Ongoing Gaza Conflict

The Islamic Action Front (IAF), a political offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan, won 31 out of 138 seats in the Jordanian parliament. This result is considered a historic victory for the Islamists, marking their largest representation in parliament since the 1989 election. The IAF had previously held 10 seats in the 2020 parliament and 16 seats in the 2016 legislature.
