Japan's "Moon Sniper" landed 55 meters from lunar target, space agency says
Japan became the fifth country in history to reach the moon when the Smart Lander for Investigating the Moon touched down on the lunar surface early Saturday. Problems with the spacecraft's solar batteries made it difficult at first to determine whether the probe had landed in the target zone.
