Israeli victims of October 7 press International Criminal Court to investigate Hamas

On February 14, approximately 100 family members of hostages from Gaza flew to The Hague to file a legal complaint against Hamas at the International Criminal Court (ICC). They are representing the families of those who have been through and are still experiencing the "terrible hell" of hostage situations. The complaint accuses Hamas leaders of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity due to the killing, kidnapping, and sexual violence carried out during the October 7 terrorist attack. The ICC's chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, is currently investigating potential war crimes committed by both Israel and Hamas since October 7. This visit is part of ongoing efforts by Israeli victims to seek justice following the attacks, which resulted in the deaths of over 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and about 250 hostages taken.
