Israeli tanks enter Rafah's city center

Israeli tanks have been spotted near the al-Awda mosque, a central landmark in Rafah, as well as in the city centre. Overnight, the IDF carried out airstrikes and tank fire on the city. While the Israeli military has not commented on reports of advancements into the city centre, witnesses claim that tanks and armored vehicles mounted with machineguns have entered the area.
