Israeli airstrikes in Gaza kill at least 34 people, including six UN staff members

An Israeli airstrike hit the UN-operated al-Jaouni Preparatory Boys School in Nuseirat, central Gaza Strip, killing at least 14 people and wounding 18 others. The school, which has been hit five times since the war began, was sheltering approximately 12,000 displaced Palestinians. The Israeli military claimed the strike was a "precise" attack on Hamas militants, while UN Secretary General António Guterres condemned the attack, calling it "totally unacceptable." The strike was the deadliest single incident for UNRWA staff, with six UN employees among the dead.
