Israeli Jets Strike Eastern Lebanon Killing At Least 40
The Israeli military conducted a series of airstrikes on Lebanon, targeting operatives of the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group. The strikes resulted in the death of at least 40 people and caused significant damage to infrastructure. The Lebanese government reported that the airstrikes hit four districts in southern Beirut, with nine strikes reported on Wednesday alone.
