Israel releases Al-Shifa hospital chief after seven months of detention.

Mohammed Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza City, was detained by Israeli forces during a raid on the facility in November. He was held without charges for over seven months before being released on Monday. During his detention, Abu Salmiya claims he and other prisoners were subjected to "almost daily torture" and that current conditions for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are worse than ever.
