Israel-Lebanese Hezbollah Conflict
Israel kills senior Fatah commander in Lebanon strike amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East region
A suspected Israeli drone raid in southern Lebanon has killed a commander from a coalition of Palestinian armed groups. The Fatah party, to which the slain militant Khalil al-Maqdah belonged, has accused Israel of seeking to ignite a regional war. The Israeli military claims it struck a terrorist in an air force strike, alleging that al-Maqdah and another individual collaborated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.
