Israel Blocks Palestinian Return to Northern Gaza Over Hostage Dispute

A fragile ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is on the verge of collapse due to a dispute over the release of hostages. Hamas had agreed to release four female Israeli soldiers and provide the names of three civilian hostages it was supposed to release, but Israel is now demanding the release of Arbel Yehud, a civilian woman held in Gaza, before allowing Palestinians to return to their homes in northern Gaza.
