Isak Andic, founder of Spanish fashion brand Mango, died in mountain accident

Isak Andic, a 71-year-old businessman and founder of the Spanish fashion brand Mango, died in a hiking accident on Saturday near Barcelona, Spain. Andic was hiking with relatives in the Montserrat caves when he slipped and fell from a cliff, reportedly over 150-metre or 320 feet. The accident occurred while Andic was walking with his son and other family members, and emergency services were called at 12:30pm, however, Andic was pronounced dead at the scene. Andic served as the non-executive chairman of Mango at the time of his death and had a net worth of $4.5 billion, according to Forbes. Spanish Prime Minister paid tribute to Andic on social media and his legacy has been remembered as an example of success by Mango's CEO.
