Iranian TV host stabbed in London: Police launch investigation

Pouria Zeraati, a 36-year-old Iranian TV host for Iran International, was attacked as he left his home in Wimbledon, south London, on Friday afternoon. According to one report, Zeraati was approached by a man who asked him for money. The first man bearhugged Zeraati while a second man started slashing at him. Both men then fled the scene. Another report confirms that Zeraati was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. The Metropolitan police have confirmed that they were called to the address where the incident occurred.
