Iran's Supreme Court Overturns Rapper Toomaj Salehi's Death Sentence

Toomaj Salehi, an Iranian rapper, had his death sentence overturned by Iran's supreme court. He was initially sentenced to death in April on charges of "corruption on earth" and other offenses, including assistance in sedition, assembly and collusion, propaganda against the state, and calling for riots. The supreme court's decision to overturn the sentence comes at a time when Iran is in the midst of a presidential election campaign.
