Iran Nuclear Deal

International Atomic Energy Agency reports Iran's stockpile of uranium has reached near weapons-grade levels

The recent IAEA quarterly report estimated Iran's overall stockpile of enriched uranium to be 6,604.4 kilograms, an increase of 852.6 kilograms since the last report. This includes 182.3 kilograms of uranium enriched up to 60%, which is an increase of 17.6 kilograms since the last report in August. Iran has raised the possibility of halting the production of near-bomb-grade nuclear fuel in exchange for avoiding formal condemnation for its years of blocking some United Nations nuclear inspectors.
According to recent reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the United Nations, Iran has increased its stockpile of uranium enriched to near weapons-grade levels. The country now holds 142.1 kilograms of uranium enriched up to 60%, which represents an increase of 20.6 kg since the last report in February. Additionally, Iran's overall stockpile stands at 6,201.3 kilograms, a rise of 675.8 kg compared to the previous report.
