Indian Politician Baba Siddique Shot Dead in Mumbai

Baba Ziauddin Siddique, a 66-year-old politician, was shot outside his son's office in Bandra West. He was a three-time elected member of Maharashtra's state legislature for the Nationalist Congress Party. Additionally, he was known for his relationships with Indian film industry A-listers and for throwing grand parties. The incident occurred in Mumbai, with reports of gunmen opening fire on him multiple times, causing him to succumb to his wounds at the Lilavati Hospital. The attack was described as "cowardly" by Maharashtra's deputy chief minister, Ajit Pawar, who expressed shock.
