India summons US official over criticism of opposition leader's arrest
The Indian opposition leader Arvind Kejriwal has been remanded in custody until April 1st after being arrested by the central government agency. This marks the first time a sitting chief minister of Delhi has been detained. In response to calls for a fair and transparent trial, India's Ministry of External Affairs summoned Gloria Berbena, the State Department Minister-Counselor for Public Diplomacy.
