HSI is responsible for investigating transnational crime and threats, including human trafficking. There have been several reports of raids at Combs' homes due to ongoing investigations regarding sexual assault and rape allegations against him. In recent months, multiple civil lawsuits have been filed against Combs, with a music producer being the latest accuser, claiming he was forced to solicit prostitutes by the rapper. Previously, a former girlfriend had accused Combs of sex trafficking.
