Holly Willoughby's alleged kidnapper sentenced to life imprisonment

Gavin Plumb, 37, has been sentenced to life in prison for plotting to kidnap, rape, and murder Holly Willoughby. The court heard that Plumb had an "unhealthy sexual obsession" with the TV presenter and sought to snare like-minded men to help him carry out his plans. He was arrested last year after discussing his intentions with an undercover police officer on an online forum. Plumb was found guilty by a jury following an eight-day trial and will serve at least 16 years in prison before he is eligible for parole. The judge described Plumb's plan as "sickening" and noted that he intended to harm Willoughby's husband and children as part of his scheme.
