Hezbollah Fires Rockets at Israeli Positions After Killing of Senior Commander
A senior Hezbollah commander, Muhammad Nimah Nasser, also known as "Hajj Abu Naameh", was killed in an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon. According to various sources, including Hezbollah itself and a source close to the group, Nasser was responsible for one of three sectors in south Lebanon and was among the highest-ranking fighters to have been killed since the militia began firing on northern Israel in solidarity with Hamas.
