Hezbollah Fires Rockets at Israel Following Killing of Senior Commander
A senior Hezbollah commander, Taleb Abdallah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the village of Jouaiya in southern Lebanon. The strike also resulted in the deaths of three other Hezbollah operatives. In response to this attack, Hezbollah launched a barrage of around 100 rockets into northern Israel and the Golan Heights. According to reports, some of these projectiles were intercepted by the Israeli military, while others struck inside northern Israel, causing fires.
