Harvey Weinstein indicted on additional sex crimes charges ahead of New York retrial

Harvey Weinstein has been indicted on additional sex crimes charges in New York, with the details of the indictment remaining under seal until his arraignment on September 18. Manhattan prosecutors have evidence of up to three more allegations against Weinstein, who is already awaiting a retrial in the city after his 2020 conviction on rape and sexual assault charges was overturned by an appeals court. A tentative trial date has been set for November 12.
