Hajj Pilgrims Die Amid Extreme Heat in Saudi Arabia

According to recent reports, at least 14 Jordanian pilgrims have lost their lives during the annual Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. The exact number of fatalities may be higher as 17 others are still missing. All six confirmed deaths are reported to be Jordanian citizens. The Hajj is one of the world's largest religious gatherings, typically taking place two months and 10 days after Ramadan ends.
