Germany: Individual Error Led to Interception of Military Call by Russia

A recording of a 38-minute conversation between senior German air force officers was obtained and published by Russian state media, causing embarrassment for Berlin. The leak occurred when a German officer in Singapore used an unsecured line to dial into a military conference call on Ukraine. Germany has since stated that this was an "individual error" and not a security breach.
