German aristocrat accused of plotting coup faces trial

A group of nine individuals, including Heinrich XIII Prince Reuss, a 72-year-old descendant of a 900-year-old dynasty from Thuringia, are accused of conspiring to overthrow the German government and install themselves as the de facto rulers. The alleged plotters, who are believed to be the ringleaders of a far-right network known as "Reichsbürger," are accused of preparing to commit high treason and membership in a terrorist organization.
