Gaza Strip Airstrikes Claim Over 150 Lives

The Israeli blockade of Gaza has been in place since March 2, resulting in a halt of aid supplies to the territory. Over the past 24 hours, more than 150 people have been killed by airstrikes, with over 82 bodies brought to hospitals. Intense shelling on the city of Khan Younis resulted in 54 fatalities overnight. A second consecutive night of heavy bombing led to over 50 more deaths. The Israeli blockade has been used as leverage, with the aid flow to Gaza remaining halted.
