Gérard Depardieu Denies Sexual Assault Allegations

Gerard Depardieu, a 76-year-old French actor, is on trial for allegedly committing sexual assault on two women during the 2021 filming of the movie "Les Volets Verts". According to the accusations, Depardieu groped the breasts and buttocks of two women, including a 54-year-old set dresser. He initially denied any physical contact, but during the trial, he admitted to grabbing the hips of one of the accusers, claiming it was to avoid slipping. The actor faces up to five years in prison and a fine of 81,000 euros if convicted.
