French defendant in mass rape trial hospitalized, delaying questioning

Dominique Pelicot, a 71-year-old man, is on trial for allegedly recruiting dozens of strangers to rape his wife, Gisèle. Fifty other men, aged 26 to 74, are also accused of involvement in the alleged rapes. The court proceedings began last week and are expected to continue until December.
