French court rules on authorship of Ravel's iconic Bolero

The copyright on the piece expired in 2016, 70 years after Ravel's death, as is typical in France where copyright typically runs for 70 years after a composer's passing. However, a dispute has arisen over who owns the rights to lucrative royalties from "Bolero", with some claiming that Ravel did not compose it alone.
