French citizen held in Iran for 887 days has been released from prison and is returning to France

French citizen Olivier Grondeau has been released by Iranian authorities, allowing him to return to France. Grondeau's release has been confirmed by French President Emmanuel Macron, who expressed on social media that Grondeau is now with his loved ones. Macron also emphasized that the French government's efforts to secure the release of two other French nationals, Cecile Kohler and Jacques Paris, will continue unabated. Kohler and Paris, a teacher and her partner respectively, are accused of attempting to instigate labor protests.
