French Lawmaker Suspended over Waving of Palestinian Flag in Parliament Debate

Sébastien Delogu, a member of parliament for the radical left France Unbowed party, stood up with a flag during questions to the government in the French Parliament. This action was met with criticism from Parliament speaker Yael Braun-Pivet, who denounced it as "unacceptable" behavior. As a result, lawmakers voted to suspend Delogu for two weeks and cut his parliamentary allowance by half for two months.
