French Foreign Minister Confirms Welcome for Israeli Athletes at 2024 Paris Olympics

French President Emmanuel Macron has also explicitly stated that "Israeli athletes are welcome", aiming to counter calls from France, Palestine, and Iran against Israel's participation. This comes amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Palestine, with over 39,000 Palestinians killed in an Israeli offensive targeting the Gaza Strip.
