Frankfurt airport temporarily halts flights due to climate protesters blocking runways

Climate activists staged a demonstration at Frankfurt Airport in Germany, temporarily suspending flights. The protesters, affiliated with the group Last Generation, glued themselves to a taxiway and cut a hole in the fencing to access the runway. The airport initially advised passengers not to travel to the facility, but later reported that flight operations were gradually resuming.
