Four people killed, many injured in building collapse in Palma de Mallorca, Spain

A two-story restaurant building collapsed on the beach in Palma de Mallorca, resulting in multiple casualties. According to emergency services, at least four people have died and around 21 others were injured, with seven victims in a "very serious" state and nine others having "serious" injuries. Local media reports that the building was located in the Playa de Palma area, south of Palma de Mallorca. One of the deceased has been named as Abdoulaye Diop, who was previously recognized for saving a man from drowning off Palma in 2017. Rescue operations are ongoing, with emergency services working to secure the area and potentially rescue people trapped in the wreckage.
