Flooding affects residents and elephants in northern Thailand

In northern Thailand, severe flooding has occurred due to heavy rainfall, affecting multiple provinces. Specifically, 20 provinces are flooded, with 9 in the northern region. Chiang Mai is among the affected areas, where flash floods have inundated the night market, hotels, and the Elephant Nature Park. The park, a famous elephant sanctuary, has been severely impacted, with rescuers attempting to guide the elephants to safety. The park's founder has described the floods as the most severe the park has ever experienced.
