First aid reaches Gaza after months-long humanitarian blockade, aid remains insufficient, says UN

The Israeli government has allowed a small number of aid trucks to enter Gaza, carrying basic necessities such as baby food. However, experts have warned that this is a wholly inadequate response to the crisis, and that a much greater effort is needed to address the humanitarian needs of the population.
Aid must reach civilians in need immediately and the blockade on Gaza needs to be lifted now because humanitarian aid must never be politicised.
It will allow civilians to eat, our friends around the world to continue providing us with international protection at the U.N. Security Council and The Hague, and us to keep fighting, with God's help, until victory.
The IDF will continue to facilitate humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip while making every effort to ensure that the aid does not reach the Hamas terrorist organisation.
A hostage deal is not a halt, it is an achievement. We are actively working toward it.
Everyone in the international community should take a decision which side he is on — on Israel's side, or on the Hamas side.
From the beginning of the war, Israel has stated clearly — we are monitoring the levels of basic items in Gaza, and we will facilitate the supply of items in low levels in order to avoid shortages.
The items to be supplied immediately include flour to the main bakeries operated by international organisations in the Gaza Strip, supplies of items to central kitchens operated by international organisations, baby food, and medical supplies.
There is one thing we cannot stand; we cannot accept images of hunger, mass hunger.
This is a war of civilisation over barbarism. Israel will continue to defend itself by just means until total victory is achieved.
By asking Israel to end a defensive war for our survival before Hamas terrorists on our border are destroyed and by demanding a Palestinian state, the leaders in London, Ottowa and Paris are offering a huge prize for the genocidal attack on Israel on October 7 while inviting more such atrocities.
