FIFA Delays Vote on Palestinian Call to Suspend Israel Football Association

FIFA has taken steps to address concerns regarding Israel's actions in Gaza and the West Bank. The Palestinian Football Association (PFA) had called for a vote to ban Israel from international competition due to alleged violations of FIFA rules during the ongoing war in Gaza. In response, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced that an extraordinary meeting of the top board would be convened to discuss the matter. Additionally, FIFA ordered an urgent legal evaluation of the PFA's proposal to suspend Israel, which accuses the Israeli Football Association of complicity in violations of international law by the Israeli government.
