Russia-EU Elections Interference
European Parliament Offices Raided in Russia Meddling Probe
Belgian authorities have launched an investigation into claims that Russia paid far-right lawmakers to spread Kremlin propaganda. As part of this inquiry, police conducted searches at the apartment in Brussels and office of a parliamentary staffer believed to have played a "significant role" in a Russian interference operation. The targeted individual is reportedly Guillaume Pradoura, a former assistant to Krah of the AfD. The investigation was announced by Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo and is part of an ongoing probe into alleged payments to MEPs to promote Russian propaganda on the Voice of Europe website.
