Escaped Zebra Captured Near Seattle After Foothill Adventure
A group of four zebras escaped while being transported from Washington to Montana last Sunday. The driver stopped at an Interstate 90 exit in North Bend to secure the trailer, and one zebra named Shug managed to escape. Three other zebras were quickly recaptured after being corralled in a pasture. According to reports, this was not the first time Shug had escaped, as it also occurred on April 28th when its owner stopped off at the same Interstate 90 exit. The owner, Kristine Keltgen, purchased the zebras from Winlock, Washington and was transporting them to her petting zoo in Anaconda, Montana.
