The judge, Alexandre de Moraes, has spearheaded a crackdown on alleged hate speech and disinformation on X, and has previously ordered the suspension of several accounts. Musk criticized the magistrate for blocking these accounts, accusing him of censorship. In response, Judge de Moraes accused the owner of "criminal instrumentalization" of the platform and demanded that it refrain from disobeying judicial orders.
