Ecuadorians approve referendum to toughen fight against gangs and violence

It is reported that 65% of valid votes were in favor of extradition in a recent referendum in Ecuador. Approximately 13.6 million of the country's 17.7 million inhabitants were eligible to vote on 11 referendum questions. President Noboa stated that they have defended the country and will now have more tools to fight crime.
