Dutch Police Employ Hologram Technology in Bid to Solve 13-Year-Old Cold Case Murder

Szabo was born in Hungary and moved to Amsterdam at the age of 18, where she started working as a sex worker. She continued working despite becoming pregnant and giving birth to a son who was placed with a foster family. Her body was found in her room, stabbed dozens of times, on the night of January 1, 2009. The police investigation into her murder has been ongoing for 15 years, with detectives using new technology, a hologram, to try and uncover new information about the case. The hologram is modeled on Szabo and is being used for the first time in a Dutch cold case.
