Dutch Court Convicts Three of Murder in Fatal Shooting of Investigative Reporter

A Dutch court has sentenced three men to prison for their roles in the murder of Peter de Vries, a 64-year-old journalist who was shot and killed on July 5, 2021. The shooter, getaway driver, and organizer of the attack were each given a sentence of 28 years and one month, with the judge describing them as having demonstrated "unprecedented ruthlessness and unscrupulousness".
