Dublin to New York City Portal Temporarily Shut Down Due to Unruly Behavior

The "Portals" art sculpture, a 24/7 live video link between Dublin and NYC, has been temporarily shut down due to inappropriate behavior from some visitors. The installations, which feature round, lens-like structures, have been used by some individuals to flash body parts or share explicit images with people on the other side. In response, the team behind the sculpture is investigating possible technical solutions to prevent such behavior in the future. Dublin city council has also announced that it will switch off the live video portal at 10pm Irish time.
