A drone attack on a police headquarters in a major border town in eastern Myanmar has killed at least five officials. Town on the border with Thailand has seen sporadic clashes between the military and anti-junta fighters since a coup in 2021. The attack is believed to be the deadliest aerial bombing targeting high-ranking security and administrative officials.
