Donald Trump and his team have filed an appeal against a New York court's ruling that they must pay $454 million in penalties and interest in a civil fraud case. The judgment, which was handed down in February by Judge Arthur Engoron, found that Trump, his company, and top executives had deceived banks and insurers by inflating Trump's wealth for years. The initial penalty amount was $355 million, but it has since increased with accrued interest.
