Dengue cases exceed 5.2 million in the Americas: PAHO report

In 2023, a total of 4,572,765 Dengue cases were reported in the American region, with countries in the southern hemisphere being the most affected. Argentina is experiencing its worst outbreak of Dengue in history. Additionally, Peru has declared health alerts in 20 out of its 25 regions due to the epidemic. The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) has confirmed over 5.2 million cases of Dengue in the Americas this year.
