Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Passengers Served Spoiled Food

A Delta Airlines flight, Airbus A330, bound for Amsterdam made an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York early morning on July 3rd. The reason for the diversion was due to food contamination, although the exact method of detection is still unknown. Upon arrival, 12 passengers were treated by emergency medical responders, but it's unclear how many individuals consumed the spoiled food. Delta Airlines has stated that their food safety team is working to isolate the contaminated product.
