Curfew in Ecuador after jailed gang boss disappears

Adolfo Macas, alias "Fito" and leader of the Los Choneros gang, has disappeared from prison. Ecuadorian authorities reported on Sunday that he was not in his cell. As of Monday, they had not found him or explained what had happened. The country's penitentiary system said Monday that it planned to provide more information.
