Country singer Garth Brooks accused of sexual assault in civil lawsuit

A lawsuit has been filed against country music star Garth Brooks, accusing him of sexual assault and rape. The accuser, identified as "Jane Roe", alleges that Brooks raped her in her hotel room during a work trip to Los Angeles in 2019. The lawsuit claims that Brooks booked a hotel suite for both him and the accuser, who worked as a hair-and-makeup stylist for Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood. Brooks' representative has not commented on the matter. This is the latest in a series of high-profile lawsuits against men in the entertainment industry, following a lawsuit filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs just days earlier.
