Double Uterus Woman
Chinese woman with rare double uterus gives birth to twins
A woman named Li gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, in September at Xi'an No 4 hospital in Shaanxi province. This rare condition occurs in only 0.3% of women worldwide. Li was born with a condition called uterine didelphys, where she has two cervixes and two uteruses, affecting 1 in 2,000 women. The hospital notes that it is extremely rare for twins to be conceived naturally in each cavity of the uterus.
